Walker and Weeks. After education at MIT, travel and work elsewhere, Frank Ray Walker (1877-1949) and Harry E. Weeks (1871-1935) came to Cleveland I 1905 to take advantage of the opportunities here especially the building of the Group Plan. Both worked for J. Milton Dyer before opening their own firm in 1911. The firm specialized in banking halls, and completed 60 of them throughout Ohio. Here they became known for their commercial, public, cultural and religious structures. Some of the well-known works include: Severance Hall (1931), Cleveland Municipal Stadium (1931) (now replaced), Allen Memorial Medical Library, (1928), Cleveland Public Library (Main) (1925) Federal Reserve Bank (1923).
